🔒 Zero-Knowledge Security: Your files are entirely yours. JordaarTech does not upload, view, or store your private files (photos, videos, documents) on our servers. All encryption and decryption processes take place 100% locally on your device using advanced, military-grade encryption.

1. Information We Collect and Process

A. Local Vault Storage (Fully Encrypted)

When you use the Secure Vault feature, your personal files are stored only on your local device. These files are protected with advanced encryption. We do not have access to your local files or local passwords.

B. Secure Backup Metadata (Cloud Sync)

To enable safe vault recovery and multi-device synchronization, the application uploads secure backup metadata to our encrypted cloud servers. This metadata consists of:

Your associated Google Account email address (used to authenticate you).
A securely hashed and protected signature of your PIN (for secure local verification validation, meaning we never store the actual PIN text).
Your encrypted Master Encryption Key, which is securely encrypted on your local device using a key derived from your PIN.
Your encrypted Master Recovery Key, which is securely encrypted on your local device using your unique 8-12 character recovery code.
The local folder path structure where encrypted files are organized on your device.
The timestamp of the last successful backup synchronization.

⚠️ Local Device Encryption: Because the keys are encrypted on your local device using your PIN and recovery code *before* being transmitted, JordaarTech has no way to decrypt your keys or access your vault files, even if we wanted to. We operate on a strict Zero-Knowledge model.

C. Persistent Recovery Backups

Our database architecture retains your encrypted metadata even if your local vault folder is temporarily empty. This ensures that you do not permanently lose access to your vaults in cases of multi-device syncing or manual file migration (e.g., copying your vault files to an external backup and restoring them later).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected metadata strictly for the following purposes:

To facilitate local access recovery: If you reinstall the app or change devices, your Google Sign-In combined with your Master Recovery Key retrieves your encrypted Master Encryption Key from our cloud servers to decrypt your local files.
Authentication: Using Google Account authentication to securely bind your metadata backup to your verified identity.
App Performance: Debugging, improving application responsiveness, and managing state transitions.

3. Permissions Requested

To provide core features, the app requests the following system permissions:

Storage/Media Access: Necessary to read files you choose to import into the Secure Vault, and to write encrypted or decrypted files back to your device storage.
Internet Access: Necessary for synchronizing encrypted vault metadata with our cloud servers and loading promotional banner/interstitial advertisements.

4. Third-Party Services and Monetization

Global Calculator uses Google AdMob to display non-intrusive mobile advertisements to support our development team. AdMob may collect and use personalized identifiers, device data, and network details in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

🛡️ Ad Placement Policy: To ensure absolute confidentiality and prevent accidental interaction, we strictly prohibit advertisements on security-critical screens, including the PIN entry screen and the Master Recovery Key screens. Ads may appear within the vault content area and on vault entry as an interstitial to support our free service.

5. Data Security

We apply robust administrative and technical controls to protect your metadata synced to our secure cloud systems. We use standard industry practices, but please note that the ultimate security of your vault relies on the strength of your unique PIN and the confidentiality of your Master Recovery Key.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not target anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application or on our website. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
